Our default configuration checks all e-mail, both inbound and outbound for executable attachments and viruses and removes attachments that can be hazardous and deletes e-mail that contain viruses. This configuration is completely customizable to your business needs. If you prefer to filter all inbound except one single mailbox because you have a need to get executable attachments we can set that up.

We maintain current antivirus software but viruses and threats change daily and Junkin Web Services make no guarantee that all e-mail received via our systems will be safe for you to open. You must still maintain an updated antivirus product on your local PC and use care when opening e-mail from individuals you don't know or with attachments you don't expect.

Also, keep in mind that a common tactic of spyware distributors, viruses and other types of undesirable e-mail is to use either your name or someone's name / e-mail address within your organization to fool you into believing it is a harmless e-mail.
